How Is Coffee Made Infographic
Coffee is personal – the right thing to do is is make it in your favorite way. Having said that, mastering some basic principles will help improve your skills.
Coffee preparation is the method of converting coffee beans into beverages. Although the precise steps differ depending on the form and ingredients of the coffee, the process consists of four basic steps: raw coffee beans must be roasted, roasted beans must be ground, ground coffee must be mixed with hot water for a certain amount of time (brewing) and, finally, liquid coffee must be removed from the coffee grounds used.
Here are some tips for making classic coffee:
- Grind Your Coffee – If you want to make the perfect cup of coffee, you should start by grinding the beans. Make sure the beans are freshly roasted.
- Measure Dosage – It is very important to carefully choose the amount of ground coffee you use in your coffee. Usually, a dose is between 7 and 10 grams.
- Mash the coffee – After choosing the right amount of coffee, make sure you distribute it evenly. The ground coffee is evenly loaded into the filter pot to achieve the uniformity of extraction.
- Brew coffee – the ideal brewing time is between 15 and 20 seconds. If you make it brew more, it becomes tasteless. If you don’t wait enough, the taste won’t satisfy you.
Generally, coffee is brewed immediately before drinking. After roasting, coffee can be unprocessed, baked, or ground in most areas. In order to avoid oxidation and prolong
the shelf life, coffee is normally vacuum-packed.
