Apply a hardflip effect on a flipbook
Elevate your flipbook presentation by experimenting with the new ‘hard’ flipping effect available in Fliplify. This innovative feature adds a distinctive touch to your flipbook by creating another kinds of pronounced and realistic page-turning animation!
The hardflip effect mimics the reading experience when reading a board book. This effect comes close to flipping through a board book made of highly durable paperboard. It is suitable for you to create a board book or photo book with hard pages.
- After you create a flipbook, you can find your book in your “Workspace”, “My Flipbook”. Open the flipbook that you want to share.
- Open the Settings tab, then you can change the Page transition setting from General Flip to Hard Flip.
Hardflip Effect vs. Normal Flipping Effect
When it comes to page transitions in flipbooks, the ‘hardflip’ effect and the traditional ‘normal’ flipping effect offer distinct experiences.
- Hardflip Effect: The ‘hardflip’ effect simulates the sensation of flipping through pages of a book with stiff, rigid paper. In this mode, the pages are presented as if they are made of a firm, unyielding material, causing each page turn to be more pronounced and less fluid. The result is a sharp, whole-sheet flip where each page turns with a solid, deliberate motion. This effect provides a more substantial, tactile feel that can emphasize the solidity of the content and create a sense of depth and weight in your flipbook.
- Normal Flipping Effect: Conversely, the ‘normal’ flipping effect offers a softer, more flexible page transition. In this mode, the pages appear to be made of a pliable material, allowing them to flip more freely and smoothly. This effect enables pages to turn in various directions, offering a more fluid and continuous motion. The normal flipping effect provides a more natural and graceful page-turning experience, suitable for presentations where a seamless flow of content is preferred.
Choosing between these effects depends on the desired visual and interactive quality of your flipbook. The hardflip effect creates a robust and tactile page-turning experience, while the normal flipping effect delivers a smoother, more fluid transition. Each offers unique advantages that can enhance the overall presentation of your content.
