Traditionally, the color green represents our nature but when it comes to design it has much more meaning than that. The variety of meanings have given us an opportunity to explore more in design.
1. The best color for human eyes
In poster design, we often focus on “making an impact” and may have forgotten that while the impact is too much. It will cause our audience to have irritation with our brand. Since it has been scientifically proven that green is the color that will cause least fatigue to our eyes. Hence, green is always the best option to maintain a balance, no matter what sort of impact design you would like to try out.
2. The color of prosperity
Usually, when it comes to prosperity, the first thing that comes to your mind might be gold and red. These two colors are brilliant in their way but when it comes to design, they might be difficult to handle so why not try something different? Green is not only the color of nature but also the color of emerald, which is symbol of prosperity. Representing happiness, success and good fortune. Hence, it is a great color in conducting a business proposal or any fundraising activity.
3. The most neutral color
In most circumstances, people associate “warm shade” to females while “cold shade” to male. Also, it is a cliche thing to do but this is in fact a subconscious level belief. Therefore, if you are looking forward to promoting a gender neutral brand. Again, green is always the best option, to put it simply green is blue with a tincture of yellow, it is indeed a unifying color.
4 The color of growth
What can you thinking of when we ask you “what is the spring of spring?” Green must be your first thought! In spring, all the animals and plants will be growing ever so lively. Thus, people often associate green with learning and growth. Therefore, if you are looking forward to inform someone that you will be holding a “children related event” or “a new beginning of something great”, it is the perfect theme color for your event.
